What you need
- Your Carolina Smart Blinds (Wi-Fi motor, Matter motor, or any motor paired with our Smart Link hub)
- The Google Home app on your phone
- A Google Nest speaker or display (optional, your phone works too)
- Your home Wi-Fi name and password (2.4GHz)
Step by step

Set up your blinds in the blinds app
During installation we add your shades to the smart blinds app on your phone and name each one, for example "Kitchen".

Open the Google Home app
Tap the "+" button, choose "Device", then "Works with Google Home".

Find and link the blinds service
Search for the blinds service we recommend at setup and sign in with your blinds app account. Matter motors can instead be added by scanning their QR code.

Assign rooms
Google lists your shades. Put each one in a room so voice commands feel natural.

Try it out
Say "Hey Google, close the kitchen blinds" and watch them move.
